The carrier is American Airlines and the flight has one stop in Miami. Sometimes however, the flight offered at this very cheap flight has another stop in New York or else a very long delay in Miami. This flight is available from United leaving 19 Nov 2007 returning 28 Nov 2007 and possibly many other dates. It can be found initially using Kayak.com using a fixed or flexible date search. This flight has two connections on the outgoing leg and one connection on the incoming leg. Another simpler alternative is a US$1098 flight from Continental that's available many days in November and December 2007 and only has one connection on both legs.

A good price for travel between these two great French speaking cities. This deal is only available leaving Dec 3 2007 and returning Dec 11th 2007. It can be found on Kayak, an airfare meta-search engine. The flight has one stop in London and is offered by BA (british airways) with the cross-atlantic flight taking place on a Boeing 777.

This is an awesome last minute deal to Vienna on Air Transat. You can leave either July 26th or July 29th and return either August 10th or the 13th. This is a very good deal on a convenient direct flight between YUL and VIE.

Flights between Canada and the United States incure heavy taxes of about US$50 each way and so this price is better than it appears. Book this deal on Orbitz with a flexible dates search in August and September. This is a one connection US Airways flight. Alternatively you can book a direct flight on Air Canada's site for a little bit more, Cdn$339, available on many more days. Enjoy new england!

A very attractive price to get to this southern caribbean island. There is however a catch: you'll need to first take a US$72 RT bus to Philadelphia - which you need to book at least 15 days ahead at the Berri - central Montreal - bus terminal. The flight is between PHL and AUA for US$345 and it can be booked on Orbitz by doing a flexible date search in October. The flight is an American Airlines flight connecting through San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU).

Buenos Aires, Argentina $804 (US) $838 (Canadian)

Available only on very limited dates this one connection flight between YUL and EZE is an amazing deal. Book by going to Orbitz and doing a flexible date search for late August - early September. This flight is offered by Aerolineas Argentinas and the one connection is at JFK. The only drawback is that there appears to be a very long layover in New York (10 hours) but what better place for a layover? Example dates where this flight was found is September 9th to September 17th 2007.

Shanghai, China $1100 (US) $1164 (Canadian)

This is a good airfare deal between YUL and PVG (Shanghai) from American Airlines in September. To find this deal use Orbitz flexible dates search to find days where the $1263 fare is available and then go to American Airlines's site to book the same flight for Cdn$1164. Be sure to put Canada as your country of residence when you search for the flight. One example day of when this fare is available is Sep 11 - Sep 18 2007.

Toronto $20 (US) $22 (Canadian)

Although this is mostly a flight deals blog I thought I should mention the amazingly cheap bus deals available from Coach Canada. This semi-permanent sale can be booked on their website look for $10 fares (each way) from late August 2007 till the end of September 2007. There are also $18, $28, and $38 fares available on days where there are no $10 fares. The only problem with this sale is that you need to select the exact hour of your departure. Coach Canada is the only bus company that travels directly between Montreal and Toronto Greyhound takes a detour through Ottawa.

Another American Airlines weekend airfare sale to Chicago. According to Airfare Watchdog this fare must be purchased by June 15th 2007. On offer is a pair of direct flights - the outgoing one on Sat June 23th and the incoming one on Mon June 25th or Tue June 26th.

This is a rare case where the lowest fare isn't on the web. The outgoing flight can be had for Cdn$88 in a sale that can't be booked on Westjet.com. Westjet is passing out flyers on Crescent st. announcing this sale for one-way travel to either Halifax (YHZ) or Charlottetown (YYG). To book you need to call 1-800-538-5696 and quote the promotional code LOBSTER (for french it's 1-877-538-5696 HOMARD). The return one-way won't be quite as cheap, the lowest available right now is Cdn$156.

This is an American Airlines flight. This price is available on flights leaving either June 12th or June 13th 2007 and coming back around a week later (eg. June 12 - 20). This travel deal is going to cost you US$10 more if you book it on Orbitz rather than on American Airlines's own site.

This pair of direct Air Canada flights includes all the booking discounts. Without the discounts the fare comes to Cdn$374 on both Westjet and Air Canada. However, the Westjet flights connect through Toronto. Taking a look at the Air Canada seat preview for June 12th to June 19th the planes are currently only about half full.

Weekend in Dallas anyone? This is a direct American Airlines flight available this upcoming weekend. It departs in the morning, Saturday June 9th, and returns either Monday June 11th or Tuesday June 12th 2007. This deal was first spotted by Airfare Watchdog based out of New York City.

Halifax $254 (US) $271 (Canadian)

This airfare can be booked on Air Canada's site and includes the no aeroplan miles, no checked baggage and no changes allowed discounts. Without these discounts the tickets going to run you Cdn$305 on either Westjet or Air Canada. The flights are direct and seem to be only offered on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Seattle $146 (US) $154 (Canadian)

This is an amazing sale from Burlington (BTV) on Continental. Most of the available dates are already sold out but one bookable day I found was September 5 2007 to October 3 2007. It can be found and booked on Travelocity, one of the big online travel agents. If you can't get someone to drive you and your travelmates to Burlington a bus is available once a day for US$56 return.

This price is only available on one set of days: June 19 2007 to June 26 2007 on American Airlines. This ticket can be booked and found on Orbitz. However, this flight has a one night stay in Miami on both the outgoing and incoming leg. Flights leaving June 6th 2007 are available for nearly as cheap: US$583.

A good airfare price to MEX best found and booked on Orbitz. This is a direct flight by Mexicana De Aviacion but it is slightly more expensive to book on the carrier's own site. Available dates are numerous from Mid-July to the end of September 2007 and can be found by doing an Orbitz flexible search. Alternate days are only normally US$40 more. Flight time is about 5 hours.

This fare is offered many days in October and November and can be found and booked on Orbitz. This is a Czech Airlines one connection flight.

Beijing, China $1289 (US) $1393 (Canadian)

Flights to Asia are very expensive this spring and in this context this Air Canada ticket is a very good deal. It can even be hard to find airfare to Asia this cheap from the west coast. This flight is most cheaply booked through Air Canada's own website but it is easiest to find it using Orbitz's flexible date search. Available dates are June 3rd or 4th to June 13th or 14th.

This is another combination bus to Burlington airport (BTV) and US domestic flight. The regular inter-city bus costs US$56 (return) and drops you off right at the airport. The flight is with US discounter JetBlue and there are plenty of flights next September for US$245. Look for one-way fares for US$104, not including tax.

Istanbul, Turkey $986 (US) $1068 (Canadian)

A nice late spring price for airfare to Istanbul. A reasonable choice of dates are available over the coming month at around US$1000. These deals are best found using the Orbitz flexible date search funtion. These flights all have one connection often in Zurich (Swiss Air) or Frankfurt (Air Canada or Lufthansa) or Paris (Air France or Air Canada). Thanks to the user who suggested this destination via the suggestion box at left!

Las Vegas $369 (US) $401 (Canadian)

This Westjet seat sale expires today. Travel must be completed by June 27th and very few travel days are available. While searching, look for C$133 one-way fares (not including tax). One set of dates that is currently available is June 5th to the 13th. These Westjet flights all have one connection in Toronto. Air Canada hasn't matched this offer but they do have a much better selection of days with decent fares and, sometimes, direct flights for C$443 (June 4th to the 12th). One-way fares are always half the price of the return fares. Also, consider adding a Californian destination to your trip for very cheap. Return flights between Las Vegas and San Francisco or Los Angeles start at about US$100, everything included, and are easy to find on Southwest Airlines.

This very cheap fare is best found by doing a flexible date search over the next month on Orbitz. This direct flight is codeshared with Air Transat but is operated by Thomas Cook Airlines, a british leisure charter airline. This flight operates on Thursdays and so outgoing (YUL to MAN) dates available are: May 31, June 7th, June 14th, and June 21st and incoming (MAN to YUL) dates available are June 7th, June 14th and June 21st. Besides Orbitz this flight can be booked for a worse price on Air Transat (C$520) and Canadian Affair(C$500 - C$515). Canadian Affair allows you to buy a one-way fare for only slightly more than it would cost as part of a return ticket.

Chicago $311 (US) $336 (Canadian)

This American Airlines flight is only available leaving Saturday June 2nd and coming back Monday June 4th or Tuesday June 5th. These are direct flights operated by American Eagle on an Embraer RJ145. This deal was first spotted by AirfareWatchdog.

Unlike some of the fares listed this deal is dead easy to find. Go to Continental's website and enter: YUL to GRU and dates in late may, early June (such as May 29 to June 8th) and that's all you have to do! These flights connect through Newark, New Jersey. Although the price increases a little in July good deals can be found through till November!

US Airways flights to London (LGW) are a pretty good deal in early June. There is one connection in Philadelphia. Many dates are available.

West Palm Beach $266 (US) $292 (Canadian)

A pretty good deal to PBI, an airport in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale region. This fare is offered by North West and is hard to find, even using Orbitz flexible date search. It has one connection in Detroit and is available: June 13 - 19, June 20 - 26 and perhaps other days. There are many more days available for US$290-295.

Amman, Jordan $937 (US) $1029 (Canadian)

This is a direct 11 hour flight available on Royal Jordanian this fall. Multiple dates are available and are best found by doing a flexible search on Orbitz. Cheaper options may be available if you are willing to fly from the US but for convenience it would be hard to beat this deal.

Algiers, Algeria $974 (US) $1070 (Canadian)

This deal is available one day only on Air France from October 15th to the 24th. It can be found and booked on Orbitz. It's possible to choose flights so that you can spend the day in Paris on the outgoing leg. However, either the outgoing or incoming leg has to have an extra connection in Marseille.

Athens, Greece $778 (US) $854 (Canadian)

This direct Air Transat flight has two possible itineraries: June 2nd to the 11th or June 8th to the 16th. If you prefer a non-charter flight then you can get a US$864 US Airways flight with one connection in Philadelphia June 4th to the 11th.

Book this last minute flight at Air Transat. The only dates currently available are May 28th to June 5th. The web sites advertises packages including 3 nights at a hotel for even cheaper - but an error occurs when you go to book it. These are direct flights.

Moscow $700 (US) $769 (Canadian)

This is an even cheaper option for travel to Moscow (SVO) that involves taking a Cdn$119 bus to New York and then catching a US$588 Finnair flight to Moscow. The good thing is that this flight is available for many dates from September 4th 2007 to November 2007. The flight can be found and booked on Orbitz and it's actually US$12 more expensive to book on Finnair's own site. There is one connection in Helsinki and the flight trip duration is 10 hours going and 8.5 hours returning (not including the 7-8 hour bus trip between Montreal and NYC).

Stockholm $724 (US) $795 (Canadian)

This last minute deal is available for many departure days in late May and early June, for about US$50 more. These days can be identified by doing a flexible date search on Orbitz but the flight can be booked for about $5 cheaper directly on the US Airways website. This flight has one connection in Philadelphi (PHL) in both directions and it is also available for about US$775 in October and November. The trip duration is about 13 hours including the aproximately 3 hour layover.

This deal is a combination US$56 bus to Burlington (BTV) that goes right to the airport and a Burlington-Los Angeles (LAX) Northwest flight. The flight is US$224 - quite a good price for this time of year. Burlington is only a 1hr 20min drive south of Montreal.

Denver, Colorado $337 (US) $373 (Canadian)

Flights to Denver (DEN) are very cheap at the moment. This fare from Montreal is easy to find throughout the next 12 months on Delta Airlines. For the truely thrifty traveller Denver can also be visited by combining a Cdn$119 bus fare to NYC with a US$120 Delta flight from JFK. This option is also open for the entire upcoming year and has a total cost of only Cdn$252.

Delhi, India $1153 (US) $1276 (Canadian)

This fare is only available September on Continental Airlines and is via their new Newark non-stop connection. Booking on Orbitz will cost US$10 due to their service fee. There are also flights to Mumbai for US$1292 in October (found on Orbitz). The travel times for each leg of this trip is about 21 hours.

Paris $458 (US) $507 (Canadian)

French airline Corse Air has some great fares to Paris Orly (ORY) this spring. Paris Orly is about the same distance from the city center as Charles De Gaulle: about 15km. It's easy to find the US$458 fares, say from Saturday June 2nd to Saturday June 9th, either on Kayak or directly from the Corse Air site. You can choose to spend your time in Paris or easily connect to a discount flight out of Paris-Orly such as to Valencia, Spain on Clickair or Athens, Greece on Easyjet or Oslo, Norway on Norwegian Air Shuttle.

Moscow $850 (US) $940 (Canadian)

Return flights to Moscow (SVO) on Aeroflot, Russia's national airline, are a very good deal - from as low as US$850! Many dates are also available for US$859 and US$869. There are also flights to St. Petersburg (LED) from US$973 in October. These deals can be found and booked by doing a flexible date search on Orbitz.

Phoenix $331 (US) $366 (Canadian)

There are currently very good deals to Phoenix next October from Montreal. Booking on Orbitz the return fare, all included, is US$331. The airline is Northwest and this deal is easy to find. This deal is likely in response to the current fare war out of Phoenix to the US east coast. Currently return fares from Phoenix to NYC can be found for about US$160.
