This is also a code share itinerary between American Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.

This price is available starting in September on Air India bookeable through Travelocity or Orbitz. This is a direct flight! This flight might also be available on Air India's own site with the added advantage of being able to just book one-way travel for half the price.

Beijing $830

This wicked deal is offered by Air Canada and is a one connection flight. Many days are available in mid October. Also, use Orbitz's flexible date search to find available dates.

This is a last minute deal offered on many different days directly from Air India. The great thing about this JFK to LHR fare is that both segments can be bought individually ($254 and $300 for the going and return segments, respectively). These fares can be most effectively searched for on Kayak.

Toronto, Canada $151

This is a combination $119 Jetblue flight from their JFK hub to Buffalo and $32 bus between Buffalo and Toronto. Taking the bus over the boarder avoids some high aviation taxes and also eliminates the expense of having to get to downtown Toronto from Pearson International Airport (YYZ). There are also US Airways flights from LGA to BUF for the same price.

This is a direct trip between Newark airport (EWR) and Los Angeles (LAX) on Midwest Airlines. Departure can be from mid July to mid August and return has to be mid August. This deal was spotted by Farecast Deals and they provide a nice grid showing what days are available at this price.

This is a one connection Finnair flight between JFK and DEL. The connection is in Helsinki. This flight can be booked most days in September and October 2007 with some days being $940. The only other airline close to competing with this price is Air India which has a fare of $972 on flights connecting through London Heathrow.

This JFK to JNB Air France flight connecting through Paris CDG is a very good deal. This price is currently only available in late September / early October 2007. According to Kayak Buzz Iberia has recently been offering this airfare for $998 but it is not currently available.
